One hero image rarely fits every feed
Designers export 16:9 for presentations; Instagram wants 4:5 or 1:1; Stories and Reels want 9:16. Auto-crop centers faces when you are lucky — logos and text get clipped when you are not.
Check aspect ratio before scheduling, not after publish. Center-crop preview shows what platforms will silently remove from the edges.
